India got defeated by New Zealand in T20

New Delhi. The first match of the three-match T20 series between India and New Zealand was played on Friday. After losing the toss, the Kiwi team came out to bat and scored 176 runs for 6 wickets. Chasing the target, the Indian team was able to score only 155 runs for 9 wickets. With winning the match by 21 runs, the New Zealand team took a 1-0 lead in the series.

Chasing the target, the start of Team India was very bad. Local hero Ishaan Kishan scored just 4 runs while Shubman Gill, who created a ruckus in the ODI series, went on to score just 7 runs. Rahul Tripathi also could not do anything special and lost his wicket without opening the account. After three consecutive setbacks, captain Hardik Pandya and vice-captain Suryakumar Yadav handled the innings. Mitchell and Conway’s Fifty

In the first T20 against India, two half-centuries were seen from New Zealand. Wicketkeeper Devon Conway scored 52 runs in 35 balls with the help of 7 fours and 1 six. After this, coming in the lower order, Darrell Mitchell opened his hands and scored 59 runs in 30 balls, hitting 3 fours and 5 sixes. This stormy innings played in the end took New Zealand to 176 runs for 6 wickets.
