New Delhi. India has recently deployed US made weapons on the Chinese border. This has increased India’s military strength against Dragon. India has installed US-made Chinook helicopters, ultra light towed howitzers and rifles as well as supersonic cruise missiles and ultramodern surveillance systems made in India on the LAC. The Indian Army said that the Mountain Strike Corps is fully operational. All units, including combat and combat support units, are fully prepared. There is also news that a large contingent of the Indian Army has been deployed in Arunachal, so that we do not weaken in a war-like situation like in 1962. In such a situation, in the last one year, at least more than 30 thousand Indian soldiers have been deployed in Arunachal.

Rajeshwari Pillai Rajagopalan, director of the Center for Security, Strategy and Technology at the Observer Research Foundation, believes that New Delhi is emphasizing on deployment on the border due to talks with China not going in the right direction. India adopted aggressive approach

Talking about the Sela tunnel connecting Tawang, it will be ready ahead of time. According to reports, the Sela tunnel will be ready by June 2022. At present, the difficulties of clearing the snow have to be faced and even then only a few vehicles can cross. With the construction of the tunnel, it will be easier to reach Tawang and it will take less time than before. This will enable fast and uninterrupted movement of troops throughout the year.
