Dehradun: Cloud burst has occurred in Kedarnath’s walking path Bhim Bali Gadera. About 30 meters of the walking path has been damaged due to heavy (Heavy rain) boulder debris. Movement on the walking path is closed and about 150 to 200 pilgrims are stranded in Bhim Bali. Damage has been caused by cloud burst after heavy rains. There is no news of any casualties so far.
What is the whole matter?
Due to heavy rains in Kedarnath, a 20 to 25 meter walking path near MRP in Bhimbali has been washed out. Rescue teams are deployed on the spot. About 200 pilgrims have been safely stopped in Bhimbali GMVN.
Information has been received from Gaurikund that the temple has been evacuated due to rising water level of the river. Everyone has been taken to a safe place. There is no report of any loss of life. Information has been received from Sonprayag that the parking has been evacuated due to rising water level of the river but there is no report of any loss of life.
