Kiev: The war between Russia and Ukraine continues. Meanwhile, Russia  ( Russia)   carried out a deadly attack on the southern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhia on Wednesday. At least 13 civilians were killed and dozens injured in the missile attack by Russia. A local official has given information about this attack.

Warning was issued

Footage posted on the Telegram channel of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky showed the bodies of civilians lying on the road amid a pile of rubble. The injured were being treated by emergency services personnel. Regional governor Ivan Fedorov said at least 13 civilians were killed in the attack. Minutes before the attack, he had warned of the danger of ‘high-speed missiles’ and ‘glide bombs’ being fired in the Zaporizhia region.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s military said on Wednesday that it attacked a fuel storage depot inside Russia, setting off a massive fire at the depot. This fuel storage depot supplies an important base of the Russian Air Force. Russian officials acknowledged a major drone attack in the area and said authorities had set up an emergency command center to control the fire.

Ukraine’s General Staff said the attack took place at a storage facility near Engels in Russia’s Saratov region, located about 600 kilometers east of the Ukrainian border. Ukraine’s General Staff said in a statement on social media platform Facebook that the depot supplied a nearby airfield, which is used by aircraft that fire missiles across the border into Ukraine.
