Hamas released 3 Israeli hostages( Israeli ) 

Deir al-Balah (Gaza Strip): Hamas released 3 Israeli hostages on Saturday under the Gaza ceasefire. Israel has confirmed this. According to Israel, ( Israeli )   the three Israeli hostages released by Hamas under the ceasefire in Gaza Strip have been handed over to its army. Now Israel also has to release dozens of Palestinian prisoners. Hamas handed over the three hostages to the Red Cross in Gaza on Saturday. The released hostages will be taken for medical treatment and will be reunited with their families after 16 months of captivity.
The names of the hostages released by Hamas are Eli Sharbi (52), Ohad Ben Ami (56) and Or Levi (34). All of them were taken hostage in an attack by Hamas on October 7, 2023. In exchange for the hostages released today, Israel will release 183 Palestinian prisoners. Before handing them over to the Red Cross, Hamas fighters took the three hostages in front of a crowd of hundreds of people and one by one all three were given a mic to speak. They were also taken around the crowd.

Netanyahu’s office said a big thing

All three gave their statement publicly. Regarding making the hostages give a public statement, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office said, “We will not accept the shocking scenes that took place on Saturday.” However, the statement does not talk about any punitive measure. This is the first time that the hostages freed during this phase of the ceasefire were asked to make a public statement during their release. This is the fifth exchange of prisoners for hostages since the ceasefire began between Israel and Hamas on January 19. Before Saturday, 18 hostages and more than 550 Palestinian prisoners had been released.
