Varanasi: Puja started on Thursday in the basement of Gyanvapi  (gyanvapi ) complex in Varanasi. This puja was done after the orders of the court. From today Hindu devotees will also be able to go to the basement and have darshan. On the other hand, there is Friday namaz today itself. In such a situation, security arrangements have been tightened in the entire Varanasi city. On Thursday morning, the puja started in the basement of Vyas ji and in the evening common devotees started having darshan of the idols. In such a situation, it is being said that today i.e. on Friday, a large crowd may come to Gyanvapi for Friday prayers.
Para military was also deployed
Let us tell you that after the worship started in the basement of Vyas ji, Friday namaz will be held for the first time at 1.30 pm today. Gyanvapi Committee has also called for a bandh on Friday. In view of this call, the police and administration have increased security arrangements in the entire city. Apart from police, para military personnel have also been deployed. On the other hand, in the basement of Vyas ji, the visitors are seeing the idols from outside the basement since Thursday evening. According to the information received from the administration, a huge crowd of Hindus may also gather for darshan in the basement on Friday.

Arrangements Masjid Committee called bandh
Amidst all this, the Anjuman Arrangement Masjid Committee of the Muslim side has issued an appeal to close Varanasi on Friday. Today markets may be closed in Muslim dominated areas. Besides, Allahabad High Court will also hear the petition of the Muslim side on Friday at 12 noon. The Muslim side has filed a petition in the High Court challenging the order of the District Court.
Hindu side’s appeal to the court

Let us tell you that the Hindu side has filed a caveat in the Allahabad High Court and appealed to the High Court that if the petition of the Muslim side is heard, then the court should also listen to the arguments of the Hindu side. Instead of giving direct orders on the petition of one party, the Hindu side should be given a chance to present its views.

It is noteworthy that Jitendra Nath Vyas, a member of the Vyas family, who participated in the puja program in the basement of Vyas ji, had told the news agency ‘PTI-Bhasha’ on Thursday that Ganeshwar Dravid, who had fixed the auspicious time for the consecration of Ram Lala in the newly constructed temple located in Ayodhya, Under the leadership of Vyas ji, late night the priest of Kashi Vishwanath temple conducted the puja in the basement of Vyas ji. During this, District Magistrate S Rajalingam, Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma, Police Commissioner Ashok Mutha Jain and many trustees of the temple were present.

Vyas had told that the employees of Kashi Vishwanath Trust first did the cleaning and purification inside the basement and then Acharya Ganeshwar Dravid installed the Kalash. After this, Gauri-Ganesh Aarti was performed by chanting mantras and all the deities were remembered and worshipped, Naivaidya, fruits were offered to them and the Aarti was concluded by offering food. Vyas told that the puja program lasted for about 40 minutes.
