New Delhi: Another case of love jihad has come to light in Delhi. It is alleged that the accused first implicated the Hindu girl in the web of love by changing her name. After that, on knowing the truth, she killed the girl by stabbing her. The police have arrested the accused Asif (29). Along with this, the knife used in the crime, the blood-stained jacket and the DVR of the Faridabad hotel have been recovered.

Delhi’s Central District DCP Shweta Chauhan told that on the night of 10 December, a woman reached Deshbandhu Gupta Road police station to register her complaint. The woman told that her 20-year-old daughter Ajmal Khan works in the park area, who has not returned home yet. After the complaint of the woman, the police registered a missing person report of the girl. After that where the girl used to work. The footage of CCTV cameras installed around that place was checked.

It was learned that at around 7 pm on December 10, the girl had left from here after working. When nothing of the girl was found, the police converted the case into kidnapping. Meanwhile, on December 12, the girl’s body was found in the forests of Surajkund. Apart from the cut mark on his neck, the sardine was also wrapped. After the information, the Faridabad police took possession of the body. On receiving the information, the family members also reached the spot and identified the girl. After this, the Delhi Police added the section of murder along with kidnapping.

During the investigation, in the CCTV footage installed in Ajmal Khan Park area, on December 9, the girl was seen with a young man at a nearby cake shop. The young man was wearing a mask. Because of which he could not be identified. When the police investigated, it was found that many other youths also work in the building where the girl used to work. Apart from this, painting work was also going on there.

The police questioned the youths working in the building. During the investigation, the police came to know that Asif, who did the painting work, was the young man who was present with the girl a day earlier. On investigation, the police took out the CDR of Asif’s mobile phone, and its location was also found at the same place where the girl’s body was found. After this, the police took him into custody on Monday and interrogated him, then he confessed to the murder of the girl.

The accused disclosed that he is originally from Bareilly and works as a painter. For the last few days, Asif was doing painting work in the house of Karol Bagh. Here he befriended a young woman, which soon turned into a deep relationship. After work, both of them started meeting each other outside. The accused did not tell the girl that she was already married. He wanted to have a physical relationship with her but the girl talked about getting married. It is alleged that on December 10, the accused asked the girl to meet him after talking about getting married. Then the two met on East Park Road. On the night of December 10, the accused took the girl on a bike and took her to a hotel in Faridabad. There she told the girl about her marriage.

On hearing this, the girl got very angry on Asif. On this, Asif divorced his wife and talked about marrying her. However, there was a fight between the two throughout the night. The same thing happened the next day. Asif left the hotel after talking about arranging the wedding. However, he returned there after arranging a knife and not a wedding. After this he took the girl to a secluded place in Surajkund area. But brought He attacked the girl’s neck with a knife. The girl also opposed him. During this his knife broke and fell. Eventually, finding no way out, he strangled the girl to death with her sardine.
