According to sources, this flight AI315 operated by Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner had departed from Hong Kong to Delhi. Sources quoted Lufthansa Airlines as saying, “We were not given permission to land in Hyderabad and that is why the plane took a U-turn and returned.” The unexpected diversion of the plane raised questions.
