Bengaluru: The first case (First case) of death due to dengue was registered in Bengaluru, Karnataka on Saturday. A senior official gave this information. The official said that the deceased person (27) was a resident of C.V. Raman Nagar in Bengaluru.

Dr. Syed Sirajuddin Madani, Chief Health Officer of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike said, ‘He was admitted to Manipal Hospital on June 25 after complaining of fever and died on June 27 due to dengue with multiple organ dysfunction syndrome.’
Symptoms of dengue fever
The symptoms of dengue fever usually start appearing 4 to 6 days after infection.
High fever can go up to 104. People with dengue have persistent headaches. Pain starts behind the eyes. Severe pain in muscles and joints. Feeling very tired. Nausea and vomiting. Diarrhea is also a symptom of dengue. Red rashes appear on the skin. Sometimes blood may also come from the nose and mouth.
How to avoid dengue?
Use mosquito repellent inside and outside the house to avoid mosquitoes.
Whenever you go out of the house, wear loose and full sleeve clothes and pants to avoid mosquitoes. Do not allow water and any kind of dirt to accumulate around the house. Avoid storing water in pots or coolers at home or keeping it for a long time. Keep yourself hydrated and for this keep drinking plenty of water and other liquids. Use seasonal fruits and vegetables as much as possible in your diet. Drink lukewarm milk with turmeric during the rainy season to increase immunity. If any kind of symptoms are seen, get tested immediately with the advice of a doctor.
