“Face the Pak Army if you have the guts”: TTP( TTP) 

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Pakistan recently carried out airstrikes in Afghanistan to kill Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan ( TTP)     chief Noor Wali Mehsud. Following these strikes, Pakistan claimed to have eliminated Noor, a claim that was later dispelled by TTP chief Mehsud himself in a video release. This clearly demonstrates the significant threat the TTP poses to Pakistan and why Sharif and Munir are in a bad light.

A bounty of crores announced on a TTP commander
Let us now take you through the latest developments in this context. What happened was that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government of Pakistan had announced a bounty of 100 million Pakistani rupees on Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan commander Kazim. Kazim is believed to have been involved in the recent killings of an army lieutenant colonel and a major. Kazim is also accused of plotting the assassination of Kurram Deputy Commissioner Javedullah Mehsud.

TTP Commander Issues Open Threat
Now, the TTP commander on whom the 100 million Pakistani rupees bounty was announced has issued an open threat to the Pakistan Army and its Chief Asim Munir. TTP commander Kazim threatened Asim Munir, saying that he (Munir) should refrain from sending his helpless soldiers to die and instead, top officials should personally come to the battlefield to accept the TTP’s challenge.

TTP commander Kazim even said that Allah has given weapons to the Mujahideen. Insha Allah, this war will continue. If you (senior officers of the Pakistani Army) are men and have been brought up by your mother’s milk, then instead of sending ordinary soldiers away like sheep and goats, you should come yourselves. What is Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan about?
The Tehreek-e-Taliban, which Pakistan deeply fears, was founded in December 2007. It was formed by merging several smaller groups. Its aim is to implement Islamic Sharia in Pakistan, remove the Pakistani army and government from their pro-American policies, and establish an Islamic Emirate by forming an ideological unity with the Afghan Taliban. The founder of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan was Baitullah Mehsud, who belonged to the Mehsud tribe of South Waziristan. After his death in a US drone strike in 2009, Hakimullah Mehsud, then Fazlullah, and currently Noor Wali Mehsud, heads the organization.
