Earthquake tremors in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, earthquake of magnitude 5.0

New Delhi. On Tuesday i.e. this morning, an earthquake of 5.0 magnitude occurred at around 5:57 pm in 215 km ESE of Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The National Center for Seismology has given this information. Let us inform that earlier on Monday afternoon also the tremors of earthquake were felt in the Indian island of Andaman and Nicobar Islands located in the Bay of Bengal. This earthquake occurred at around 3.02 pm in the afternoon, 256 km southeast of Port Blair. According to the National Center for Seismology, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 4.4 on the Richter scale. At the same time, an earthquake of low magnitude of 3.2 Richter scale was felt in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir. Earthquake tremors were felt in Doda at 12.12 pm.
