Chamba (Himachal Pradesh): Earthquake tremors were felt in Chamba, Himachal Pradesh at around 10.38 pm on Monday night. Its intensity was measured at 3.6 on the scale of the reactor. According to EMC, the epicenter of this earthquake was 5 kilometers deep from the ground.
Due to this earthquake, which came for a few seconds, the goods kept in many houses started shaking, but then everything became normal. For a few moments there was chaos all around. A spokesman for the State Disaster Management Authority said that the tremors were of moderate intensity. No casualties or damage has been reported so far.
It may be known that Himachal Pradesh comes under earthquake sensitivity zone 4 and 5. It may be known that in the year 2005, there was an earthquake of 7.8 magnitude in which 10,000 people lost their lives. It may be known that the recent earthquake in Syria and Turkey has claimed the lives of more than 42 thousand people and even today tremors of 6.4 magnitude earthquake were felt there.
