After ending the practice of sacrificing innocent animals that had been going on for years, the goddess was given a colorful farewell by worshiping and performing Havan. Durga Puja Mitra Mandal organized a blood donation camp to please the Goddess on Navami in Neel Gali of Sarafa Bazar, Meerut. During this, taking a pledge to end the practice of sacrificing innocent animals, the organization decided to save the lives of people by donating blood

The members of the organization organized Aarti Kanya Pujan and Havan along with Dhanuchi dance. Last year, on the initiative of Dr. Sanjeev Agarwal, this decision was taken by Neel Gali Public Shri Durga Puja Mitra Mandal. In this it was decided that the soul would not be sacrificed in any form to please the goddess and for her personal selfishness, but would herself try to please the goddess by donating blood.
Taking this initiative forward, a blood donation camp was organized. Devotees and devotees carried forward the initiative to save lives by donating blood in more than 150 numbers. After worship, havan and blood donation, everyone praised the goddess and prayed to the goddess to keep everyone healthy.

Sanjeev Aggarwal, a member of the Nilgali Puja Pandal, says that saving human life is the true worship of God. Therefore the tradition of sacrifice has been abolished. Now the blood of the voiceless is not shed at the feet of Maa Durga, but devotees donate blood for the needy. People of every sect now donate blood here with great enthusiasm. and protect life.
