After the day-long political developments in Maharashtra, now big news is coming out. Former Chief Minister of the state Devendra Fadnavis in a meeting with Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has demanded a floor test. According to sources, taking into consideration the words of Fadnavis, the Governor has called for a floor test on 30th at 11 am. Earlier, 8 independent MLAs have demanded an immediate floor test by sending an e-mail to the Governor from the official email id. After this, the leader of the opposition party in the assembly, Devendra Fadnavis, has reiterated the same demand to the governor.
After meeting the Governor, Devendra Fadnavis said, “Today, we have told the Governor that 39 MLAs are outside the Shiv Sena in the situation as seen in the state and it is clear that they do not want to be in the government.” We have told the Governor that the government appears in a minority, so immediately order that the Chief Minister should prove his majority in the floor test.
Apart from Devendra Fadnavis, the delegation that went to meet the Governor includes Chandrakant Patil, Ashish Shelari, Praveen Darekar, Girish Mahajan and Shrikant Bhartiya. Earlier, Devendra Fadnavis also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda today. After this he immediately returned to Mumbai.
