This gang has cheated a Delhi girl and 11,000 other people in the name of providing online jobs from home, after which 3 accused have been arrested in raids in Gurugram and Delhi.

According to Delhi Police, Chinese module was being used in the name of Amazon in online part time job racket. Its mastermind is working from Georgia and has movement in Dubai. LOC and other process are being started to catch him. The email used by these fraudsters to trap people is https://mall613.com/#/pages/register/index?code=913767IS which is the fake website used in the scam. Delhi Police claims that this website was designed by a cyber expert operating from China and shared through Telegram ID whose IP is from China.

Delhi Police said, ‘The module of the website was made from China and changed to another design. The accused were using a well-set website and using YouTube, Instagram, Telegram, WhatsApp and other social media platforms for publicity and different purposes to promote their business of duping people through this system. methods were used. These people were misappropriating the cheated money using crypto, razor pay and other apps.

In the police investigation, a transaction of 5 crores in a day and the clue of 30 thousand victims has been found. Not only this, transactions worth Rs 200 crore have come to the fore so far. According to the information, ‘Money was transferred to 7 companies in Fatehabad, Haryana. Crores of rupees were cheated from thousands of people by this gang. Debits of more than Rs 15 lakh were frozen in 7 accounts and the money trail continues. The mastermind of this gang is operating from Georgia. According to the Delhi Police, on 26 September 2022, they had received a complaint through the National Cybercrime Portal. The victim was from Rohini area. She told that while looking for work, she got caught in the clutches of this gag while searching for online part time job in Amazon through Instagram and lost 1 lakh 18 thousand rupees.
According to Delhi Police, the investigation done so far indicates that Chinese cyber criminals have developed a module to dupe people looking for online work from home jobs or part time jobs because of action by agencies and awareness among people. Because Chinese loan fraud is on the decline now. Cyber criminals of China created a fake website like Amazon company. The website has been found registered from China. The accused then advertise on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, portraying them as the real Amazon company. For this, they get millions of likes and followers with the help of digital marketing. Innocent youths are getting attracted by their attractive posts.
After this, people looking for jobs are asked to create an ID on that website and are given the task of selling products online. Victims are fooled by showing sold products as they have admin access to that website and can make any changes. Victims can see money being deposited into their account which looks like an Amazon Pay account.

To withdraw the amount reflected in the account, the victims are told that they can withdraw the amount by adding some money to the wallet in proportion to the remaining work. To add money to the wallet, the scammers provided the account information to the victims. For this, he developed such a machinery in India, which gives him the benefit of current account in the greed of some shares. Many people are involved in different roles in this digital money siphoning module.
