New Delhi. The Union Cabinet has approved a bill to replace the ordinance related to the control over the posting-transfer of officers in Delhi. Sources gave this information on Tuesday evening. Along with this, he told that now this bill is ready to be introduced in the Parliament( Parliament ) soon.
The ‘Delhi National Capital Territory Government Amendment Ordinance’ has become the cause of fresh conflict between the state’s ruling Aam Aadmi Party and the central government in recent times. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), led by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, is opposing the ordinance related to transfer-posting of bureaucrats in Delhi, which was issued by the central government in May. In such a situation, there is a possibility of a deadlock between the government and the opposition alliance in the parliament regarding the bill related to it.
Earlier it was reported that Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary, Congress leader in the Lok Sabha, DMK MP A Raja, Trinamool Congress’ Saugata Roy and RSP’s NK Premchandran have given a notice to nullify the bill. In fact, whenever the government introduces a bill in the parliament in place of an ordinance, then a statutory resolution can be presented against it to make it ineffective on behalf of the opposition.
On the other hand, after participating in the all-party meeting convened by the government on Wednesday before the monsoon session, AAP leader Sanjay Singh told reporters, “How can the subject of constitutional amendment be passed through an ordinance?” We will strongly oppose the crushing of the rights of the two crore people of Delhi and not allowing the Kejriwal government to run. He had made it clear that his party would oppose bringing this ordinance against the decision of the Supreme Court. He said, ‘It is shameful to bring an ordinance in this way to crush the federal structure.’
