Controversy escalated over sex scooty

New Delhi: The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has issued a notice to the Transport Department seeking changes in the sex series vehicle registration number. Along with this, DCW has also asked the department in its reply to give the total number of vehicles registered under the new series.

According to the information, a girl had recently bought a scooty, her vehicle registration number series had sex letters, due to which she faced taunts, embarrassment and harassment.

The girl informed the Women’s Commission that she was facing severe harassment due to the allotted series registration number, as people taunted and teased her for it. He said that due to all this, she is facing difficulty in commuting anywhere and she is not able to go out for essential work.

Taking cognizance of the matter, the commission has issued a notice to the Transport Department demanding immediate change in the vehicle registration number of Scooty. The commission has also asked the transport department to give the total number of vehicles registered in this series. The commission has also sought details of all such complaints received by the department. Ultimately, the commission has sought a detailed report from the Transport Department on the action taken in the matter within 4 days.
DCW chief Swati Maliwal was quoted as saying in a statement, “It is very unfortunate that people can be so cruel and degrading that the girl is facing so much harassment. I have asked the transport department to resolve this problem,” said a statement. However, a senior official of the Transport Department had said on Saturday that the entire series has been put on hold after the matter came to light. Anyone who has the registration number in this series can get it changed.
