Congress party had to take action(Congress)

Vinoy Tamang: Many interesting incidents are also being seen in the Lok Sabha elections. In this series, an interesting incident has come to light from West Bengal where Congress  (Congress) state general secretary and Gorkha leader Vinoy Tamang asked for votes for BJP. What happened after this became a topic of discussion across the country. What actually happened was that Congress on Tuesday expelled party’s West Bengal unit general secretary Vinay Tamang from the party for six years due to ‘anti-party activities’. Congress took this step hours after the Gorkha leader extended support to BJP’s Darjeeling Lok Sabha seat candidate Raju Bista.

In fact, Congress leader Binoy Tamang said on Tuesday that he will support BJP candidate Raju Bista from Darjeeling Lok Sabha seat in the elections and will also urge the people of the hill region to vote for the BJP candidate. West Bengal Pradesh Congress General Secretary Tamang said that he has taken this decision “after deep consideration and understanding of all the issues”.

Supported BJP candidate..
Tamang said that I extend my hearty support to BJP candidate from Darjeeling constituency Raju Bista for the constitutional security and justice of the people of Darjeeling Hills, Siliguri Terai and Dooars. He said that I humbly request all my respected fellow citizens of Darjeeling Hills, Siliguri Terai, my colleagues, supporters, well-wishers, friends, relatives and families to cast their valuable vote for BJP candidate Raju Bista on the ‘Lotus’ symbol. .

Reasons also enumerated..
Not only this, Binoy Tamang expressed his displeasure over the Congress’s decision to make Munish Tamang, former national president of the Indian Gorkha Confederation, a candidate from the Darjeeling Lok Sabha seat, because he has been given the ticket only about a week after joining the Congress. Tamang told the news agency that the Congress leadership neither consulted him nor any leader of the hill region of the party before deciding to make Munish Tamang the party candidate from Darjeeling Lok Sabha seat.

Don’t pay much attention..
He said that I am still with Congress. But BJP will win here. We can feel it here. We do not support Munish Tamang because no Congress leader was consulted in this regard. Tamang said that his expulsion from Congress is a ‘victory for Gorkha’ and he does not give much importance to it. My expulsion from Congress is the victory of Gorkha and the defeat of the oldest party.

Meanwhile, Congress leader and former MLA Manoj Chakraborty said that Vinay Tamang has been expelled from the organization for six years for anti-party activities and this has become effective with immediate effect. Let us tell you that voting is to be held in Darjeeling on 26th April.
