Congress and BJP targeted Mamata(Mamata )

Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata  (Mamata )    Banerjee did not attend the important meeting of NITI Aayog in New Delhi on Saturday. This was the first major meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the Chief Ministers of the states and Lieutenant Governors of Union Territories after India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ against Pakistan.

BJP targeted CM Mamata

BJP and Congress have targeted the Chief Minister for Mamata Banerjee not attending the NITI Aayog meeting. BJP Rajya Sabha MP Samik Bhattacharya said that it is unfortunate for the people of West Bengal that the Chief Minister decided not to attend the meeting. Especially when the Chief Ministers of many other states were also present in the meeting. Bhattacharya said that the people of the state were deprived due to the Chief Minister not attending the meeting. The state government has missed the opportunity to raise many important issues which are important for West Bengal.

Congress also targeted Mamata

Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said that if the Chief Minister had attended the meeting, she could have raised many issues. Sources said that the reason for Mamata Banerjee’s decision not to attend the meeting is currently unknown.

Who did not attend the NITI Aayog meeting?

Union Territory Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy did not attend this meeting. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah from Congress did not attend the meeting citing a pre-scheduled program, but he sent his speech to be read in the council. Similarly, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan sent his cabinet colleague K N Balagopal to represent him in the meeting.

Let us tell you that PM Modi said on Saturday that global investors are very interested in India and the states should use this opportunity to attract investment by removing policy barriers. He said that if the central government and the states work together like Team India, then no goal is impossible.
