Lucknow. There is another big news for Uttar Pradesh. On the lines of Delhi-NCR, now Uttar Pradesh State Capital Region will be formed in the capital Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given green signal regarding this. CM Yogi has given directions to the officials in this regard. CM Yogi has asked to make a proposal involving the areas around Lucknow.

In this, Lucknow, Barabanki, Kanpur and Unnao are also to be included in the plan. It is believed that with this scheme of Yogi government, the pace of development in these areas will be accelerated and the government scheme will also expand. Under this plan, instructions have been given to find land for Kanpur International Airport. Now there is a possibility that land can be marked for this in Chakeri area.

CM discussed in the meeting of development authorities
On Friday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a review meeting with all development authorities through video conferencing in the capital Lucknow. Meanwhile, for the planned development around Lucknow, on the lines of Delhi-NCR, there was also a discussion on creating a State Capital Region (SCR) by connecting Lucknow and Barabanki.

The central point of the SCR will be the Lucknow-Barabanki border. According to the information, there is a plan to include the area from Mohanlalganj to BKT. Under the master plan, the areas of ACR will be covered by 2031. Information will be included in the proposal from land to every area.

The capital Lucknow is continuously expanding
Let us inform that in the development area of ​​the city, rapid plotting is being done between Barabanki, Bakshi Ka Talab and Mohanlalganj border. In such a situation, there is no institution for planned development here. On the other hand, due to lack of basic facilities like parks, multiplexes, markets, hospitals in the outer area, the pressure of urbanization is increasing in the capital. After the formation of SCR, with the land use being fixed, the government will also be able to hand over the responsibility of passing the map to any one institution. This will open the way for planned development in this area. The areas between BKT, Mohanlalganj and Barabanki will be added to the SCR.

Chief Minister sought proposal for second phase of Lucknow Metro
On Friday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the Housing and Urban Planning Department, Housing Development Council and all urban development authorities through video conferencing at his official residence and gave necessary guidelines. Along with this, CM Yogi Adityanath has sought a proposal for the second phase of Lucknow Metro.
