Chennai. Political uproar has started in Tamil Nadu regarding the alleged attack on the laborers of Bihar. Meanwhile, the Stalin government has called the attack incident false. Labor Welfare and Skill Development Minister of the State Government, CV Ganesan said that the news of the attack on laborers running on social media is false. Along with this, he also said that action will be taken against those people, who are spreading such fake news on social media. Said in the press release on Friday that there is no danger to the laborers of North India in Tamil Nadu. He is contributing very well in the development of the state.

The minister further said, “Big industrial and small industrial companies have been investing in Tamil Nadu on a large scale for many years and workers from many states come here to work in a peaceful environment and contribute a lot to the development of the state.” The press release states that malicious news is being spread by some people on social media that workers from North India are being attacked at some places in Tamil Nadu with malicious intent. He said, “Everyone in Tamil Nadu, including the people of North India, knows that there is not an iota of truth in this.”

On the other hand, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar said that a team of senior officials is being sent to Tamil Nadu on Friday to investigate the allegations of attacks on migrants. According to the statement issued by the CM’s office, Nitish Kumar held a high-level review meeting with the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police regarding the alleged attack on the people of Bihar in Tamil Nadu.

CM Nitish Kumar tweeted and said, ‘I have come to know about the attack on the laborers of Bihar working in Tamil Nadu through newspapers. I have instructed the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police of Bihar to talk to the officials of the Tamil Nadu government and ensure the safety of the workers of the state living there.
