Vijing: China has given a new statement amid India-Pakistan tension. China has said that we stand fully with Pakistan. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Saturday that his country will stand with Pakistan in maintaining its ‘sovereignty, territorial integrity and national independence’. According to a statement from the Foreign Office, the Chinese Foreign Minister made these remarks during a telephone conversation with Pakistan’ (Pakistan) s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
China praised Pakistan
During the conversation, Dar apprised Wang Yi of the emerging regional situation. Wang Yi praised Pakistan’s restraint and its responsible attitude in challenging circumstances. The Foreign Office said, “They reaffirmed that China, as Pakistan’s all-weather strategic cooperative partner and staunch friend, will stand firmly with Pakistan in upholding its sovereignty, territorial integrity and national independence.”
Ishaq Dar spoke to Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed
In addition, Ishaq Dar also spoke to UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, who welcomed the ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and India.
