New Delhi. In the global market, the prices of crude oil have fallen by about three dollars per barrel during the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, a change is being seen in the retail prices of petrol and diesel released by government oil companies on Friday morning. Today, petrol and diesel have become costlier in Patna, the capital of Bihar, but there has been no change in its prices in UP.
According to the rate released by the government oil companies, this morning in Gautam Budh Nagar district (Noida-Greater Noida), the price of petrol is fixed at Rs 96.60 per liter and diesel at Rs 89.77 per liter. In Ghaziabad also, petrol is being sold at Rs 96.26 a liter and diesel at Rs 89.45 a litre. However, in Bihar’s capital Patna today, petrol has become costlier by 50 paise to Rs 108.12 a liter and diesel by 47 paise to Rs 94.86 a litre.
If we talk about crude oil, then its prices have also changed in the last 24 hours. The price of Brent crude has fallen by about two and a half dollars to reach $ 89.78 per barrel. At the same time, WTI is selling at a price of $ 82.12 per barrel, down by about $ 3.

New rates are released every morning at 6 am
There is a change in the prices of petrol and diesel every day at 6 am. The new rates are applicable from 6 am onwards. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price almost doubles from the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high.
