Delhi: A shameful incident has come to light in Delhi. A student was raped in a government school in Sultanpuri area of outer Delhi. The game teacher who taught self-defense skills in the school raped a student studying in class 11.
The accused person was not a permanent teacher in the school
People protested after the incident of rape of a school student came to light. Police gave this information on Friday. Police said that 45-year-old accused Satish has been arrested. He used to conduct self-defense classes for free through an NGO. He was not a permanent teacher in the school.
Family members protested outside the police station
A senior police officer said that family members and neighbors gathered outside the police station and demanded action against the coach. According to the victim’s father, his daughter called him in the afternoon and told that her sports teacher touched her inappropriately and threatened her in the class.
Case registered under POCSO Act
According to the victim’s father, he contacted the school principal and also informed the local police about the matter. Police said that the incident was reported at 12:12 pm on Friday. Police said that a case has been registered at Sultanpuri police station under Section 351 of the Indian Penal Code (BNS) and POCSO. (POCSO Ac) Police is still investigating the matter further.
