New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah made a big announcement at the end of the year 2019 and said that the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) personnel will be given 100 days leave in a year. Now a big news has come out on this matter. It is being told that Home Minister Amit Shah can soon implement the proposal to allow CAPF jawans to spend at least 100 days leave with their families.
Let us tell you that CAPF is called a group of five security forces of the country. All the forces coming in this group are completely under the control of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The CAPFs include the Border Security Force, the Central Reserve Police Force, the Central Industrial Security Force, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police and the Sashastra Seema Bal.
The issue of leave of CAPF jawans was stuck for the last three years. Now it is expected that soon permission can be obtained from the Home Minister in this regard. Home Minister Amit Shah said in 2019 that all jawans can stay with their families for 100 days.
The Home Minister, after laying the foundation stone of a CRPF headquarters in Delhi, said that the ministry has constituted a committee for 100 days leave for the soldiers. Giving information, he said that talks are also being held with the DG on this matter.
However, a few days ago, CAPF Association General Secretary Ranbir Singh said that the formula given by the Home Minister has failed because even after two and a half years it has not been decided how to give these holidays to the jawans. If sources are to be believed, in this entire matter, the promotion of cadre officers in CRPF and the leave of 100 days to the jawans was stuck in both these issues.
