“Bring the Perpetrators to Justice,” says Yunus Government.( Justice ) 

Dhaka: India has adopted a very strong stance on the killing of Hindus and the atrocities committed against them in Bangladesh. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said during a press conference on Thursday that the Bangladeshi government cannot shirk its responsibility for taking action. It must take steps in the case of the killing of Hindu youths and the burning of the homes of several Hindu families. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that the interim government of Bangladesh must bring the perpetrators to justice    .( Justice ) 

2900 Incidents Against Minorities Under the Yunus Government
The Indian Ministry of External Affairs said that so far, 2900 incidents of violence, arson, and other forms of persecution against minorities have occurred under this government. We have repeatedly rejected the false narratives being promoted against India in Bangladesh. The current government of Bangladesh is responsible for the violence and deteriorating law and order situation there. We are vigilant regarding the safety of minorities. We are monitoring the situation closely. The safety of Hindus, Christians, Buddhists, and Sikhs in Bangladesh is a matter of concern. They are constantly facing violence.

Incidents Cannot Be Ignored
The Ministry of External Affairs said that the incidents happening to minorities and Hindus cannot be ignored by giving them a different interpretation. Randhir Jaiswal said that we condemn the recent killing of a Hindu youth. We also hope that the perpetrators will be brought to justice soon. Minorities are being continuously targeted by extremists. This is a matter of deep concern. The incidents of atrocities and violence against minorities in Bangladesh cannot be ignored.

Concern Expressed Over Cancellation of H1B Visa Interviews
During this time, India said on Friday that it has raised its concerns with the United States regarding the cancellation of pre-scheduled H1B visa interviews for a large number of Indian applicants. Concerns have been raised, and both sides are engaged on the issue. Thousands of H-1B visa applicant interviews scheduled in India from mid-month onwards have been abruptly postponed for several months to allow for scrutiny of their social media posts and online profiles. Some applicants, whose visa appointments were scheduled last week, received emails from US immigration officials informing them that their interviews had been rescheduled until May of next year.

Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said at his weekly media briefing that the Indian government has received complaints from several Indian citizens who are facing problems with the rescheduling of their visa appointments. He said that visa-related issues fall within the sovereign domain of any country, but “we have raised these issues and our concerns with the US side, both in New Delhi and Washington D.C.”
