Blames Iran for the attack ( Iran)

Washington: US President Donald Trump has issued a significant statement regarding attacks on Indian sailors in the Gulf of Oman. Trump claimed that Iran   ( Iran)  used drones to attack Indian ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Attacks on Indian ships will not be tolerated. Notably, Trump’s statement follows three incidents involving attacks on Indian sailors in the Gulf of Oman. The US military had attacked three commercial ships on June 8, 9, and 11. Four Indian nationals were killed in the attack that took place on June 9.

Trump dismisses Iran deal talk as ‘fake news’
US President Donald Trump wrote on the social media platform Truth Social: “The terms Iran has stated have nothing to do with the terms agreed upon in writing. That is fake news. What they have stated—including their weak and shameful remarks regarding the deal—bears no relation to the truth. Dealing with them is a highly dishonest affair; an honest deal with them is impossible.”

Accuses Iran of attacking Indian ship
Speaking on the attack on the Indian ship, Trump said, “Last night, their drone attack on Indian ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz was completely thwarted; this behavior is absolutely unacceptable. They must mend their ways immediately.”

Missile attack on MT Jalveer near Oman
Following this attack, India had summoned the US Embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires to issue a warning. Subsequently, last Thursday, the US Central Command launched a missile attack on a commercial ship named MT Jalveer. US Central Command had formally announced details of this attack via a tweet. The US military released a video, yet Trump backtracked. Fortunately, all crew members aboard the ship were safely rescued by an Omani team. Today (Friday), the Ministry of External Affairs once again summoned US Chargé d’Affaires Jason Meeks to express objection regarding the targeting of Indian sailors in international waters; however, Trump has now stated that the attack on the Indian ships was carried out by Iran, not the US. While the US military released a video asserting the attack, Trump maintains that it was Iran who carried it out.
