New Delhi | April 25:In a major political development, Raghav Chadha, along with Sandeep Pathak and Ashok Mittal, has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), dealing a significant blow to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

The leaders were formally welcomed by BJP president Nitin Navin, who greeted them with sweets at the party event.

Addressing a press conference, Raghav Chadha stated that he had dedicated 15 years of his life to AAP, but the party has now drifted away from its core values of honest politics.

He further claimed that he is leaving the party along with two-thirds of its Rajya Sabha members.

Chadha said that AAP currently has 10 members in the Rajya Sabha, and two-thirds of them are backing this move. He added that the required signatures have already been submitted to the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha.
