He told in the press conference that the Modi (Modi ) government will conduct caste census across the country. Ashwini Vaishnav said that the Modi government will conduct caste census across the country. Along with the census, castes will be counted. He surrounded the Congress regarding caste census. He said that the Congress used the caste census for its benefit.
The last caste census was done in 1931. After 94 years, caste census will be done across the country. For the first time in independent India, the central government will conduct caste census.
Approval for 166.8 km long 4 lane highway
Ashwini Vaishnav said that the Silver Corridor from Shillong has been approved. Whose total cost will be Rs 22,864 crore. 166.8 km long 4 lane highway has been approved. New highway from Meghalaya to Assam has been approved.
FRP of sugarcane increased
Ashwini Vaishnav told that a big relief has been given to sugarcane farmers. FRP of sugarcane has been increased. Giving relief to the farmers for the 2025-26 sugarcane season, Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Rs 355 per quintal has also been approved.
FRP stands for Fair and Remunerative Price. This is the minimum price fixed by the government for sugarcane farmers in India, at which sugar mills have to purchase sugarcane. The purpose of FRP is to ensure that sugarcane farmers get a fair and remunerative price for their crop, which takes into account their cost and income.
