Be ready for severe cold again( cold )

New Delhi: The sun is shining in Delhi-NCR during the day and the cold  ( cold ) has reduced in the morning and evening. According to the Meteorological Department, it will rain in Delhi after 72 hours and the temperature will also drop. Due to rain and drop in temperature, cold may return. The Meteorological Department has predicted ‘moderate fog’ in Delhi for the next two days i.e. till February 1. Rain is predicted in Delhi on February 3.

How will the weather be in Delhi for the next two days

The Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the minimum temperature in Delhi on Thursday was recorded at 9.2 degrees Celsius, which is 0.8 degrees higher than the normal temperature of the season. The sky is predicted to remain clear in Delhi on Friday. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 26 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature is likely to hover around 8 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature will hover around 26 degrees Celsius.

Pollution level rises again in Delhi

Let us tell you that the national capital is once again grappling with increased air pollution, as the AQI was recorded at 381 at 8 am on Thursday, which falls in the ‘very poor’ category. According to the data of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), by 8 am, the AQI at Anand Vihar was 394, Chandni Chowk 386, ITO 364, Najafgarh 339, Okhla Phase 2 393, RK Puram 372, Patparganj 395, Wazirpur 415. Delhi’s AQI which was recorded at 276 on 28.01.2025 increased sharply and was recorded at 365 at 4:00 pm on 29.01.2025.

GRAP-3 implemented in Delhi

After the air quality deteriorated and pollution levels reached ‘severe’ levels, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) had ordered immediate implementation of all actions under Phase-III of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) in Delhi and adjoining National Capital Region (NCR).
