Amit Shah on a 3-day visit to Kashmir from today

New Delhi: Home Minister Amit Shah is visiting the state today amidst the heightened audacity of terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. He will stay here for three days and take stock of the security situation. Apart from this, how security can be beefed up in Jammu and Kashmir, it will also be planned. So far this month, terrorists have also killed 11 innocent civilians. This trend has been seen after many years, when terrorists have started targeting civilians as well. Jammu and Kashmir BJP leader Sunil Sharma said that Amit Shah will reach Jammu first and then go to Kashmir. BJP district presidents have also been invited to a program of Amit Shah. Apart from this, he will also address a party rally in Jammu. This is Amit Shah’s first visit after the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. He had earlier visited Kashmir in June 2019, when the BJP again won a major victory in the general elections. Let us inform that in Delhi last month, he had called a meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and other senior security officials. In this he reviewed the security situation.

Meanwhile, security arrangements have been tightened in the valley in view of Amit Shah’s visit. Security forces have increased the checking. Let us inform that on one hand the audacity of the terrorists has increased, on the other hand the security forces have also dealt with the terrorists by showing promptness. So far this month, 17 terrorists have been killed in encounters by security forces. Many of these terrorists came from Pakistan.
The army has been running operations for the past 12 days in the dense forests of Rajouri-Poonch sector. Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists are suspected to be hiding here. Apart from this, NIA has also arrested 13 people for helping terrorists.
