London: The ‘hunger’ of a rapist became the reason for his capture. Actually, the rapist ordered the kebab from the food delivery app and the police got to know about his location. After this the police team reached the spot without wasting time and nabbed the accused. This is probably the first such case in the world when the accused got behind the bars due to a food delivery app.
The accused, 43-year-old Daniel Hassan and the victim met on a dating site in May last year. After this, both of them met on the first date in Newcastle City Center of England. Where it was decided that both would watch the Champions League final together. Hassan had reached the woman’s house to watch the final. During this, he had a dispute with the woman. After this, the accused first beat up the victim fiercely, then raped her and fled.
Actually, the woman had said something about Hasan’s favorite football team, which made him uncontrollable. Before raping her, the victim was brutally assaulted. The woman told the police that she knew the accused only by the name of Danny and that he was a resident of Manchester. After the incident, Hasan had removed his photo from the profile of the dating site, but the police managed to recover it.
During the investigation, the police came to know that the accused was hiding somewhere in Hauxley, County Durham, but his exact location was not known. The police was searching when it got information about the location of the accused from a food delivery app. Hassan had ordered kebabs for himself, on the basis of which the police reached his hideout and nabbed him.
