A 7-storey building collapsed suddenly in the raw valley

Shimla. A 7-storey building suddenly collapsed in the Kachhi Valley of Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Although the building was completely evacuated just before the collapse, there was no accident and no loss of life or property. Seeing how, the 7 storey building got grounded. Many families lived in it. According to the officer present on the spot, the houses below were damaged due to the debris of the building. There have been cracks in many buildings.

When this building collapsed, the Shimla administration team was present on the spot. Deputy Mayor and DC of Shimla also reached the spot. Deputy Mayor Shailendra Chauhan said that the foundation of Darshan Cottage had weakened due to rain. That’s why the building collapsed. The building was completely evacuated in time, so there is no loss of life and property.

Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj has ordered an inquiry regarding the investigation of the 7-storey building that was demolished in Kachha Ghati, while now the corporation will also investigate in this matter. Joint commissioner of the corporation Ajit Bhardwaj said that a team of the corporation would inspect the spot and it would be investigated whether the building was illegal or not. However, in this case, no notice has been given to the building owner by the corporation earlier.
