Railway: Before reaching the station during the journey in the train, the passengers are very upset when the train stops in the middle of the way or outside. Because often in such situations, the train remains standing for a long time when the signal is not received. Many a times, the train stops on the track for an hour or so. But now this will not happen and trains will run without any hindrance. Because now the railway is going to install advance signal system on some tracks.
Now preparations are underway to upgrade railway facilities with automatic block signaling system, which will not affect the movement of trains and passengers will reach the station on time.
This railway project is worth 1 thousand crores. In its first phase, these signals will be installed between Lucknow to Chhapra. Its tender has been issued, the work will start soon.
Northeast Railway Administration Under this project, automatic block signals will be installed at every 1 kilometer on Chhapra railway track from Lucknow to Barabanki.
Apart from this, these signals will also be installed between Sitapur and Budhwal. By 2025, the work of installing signals on the entire section will be completed.
At present, absolute block signal system is running on the railway tracks, in which green signal is given to the train coming from behind only after the train reaches the next station in a block section. Because of this other trains get late.
In Automatic Block Signaling System, signals are placed at every 1 km distance between two stations. Due to this, as the signals keep getting green, the train coming from behind moves ahead and does not have to wait much.
Pankaj Kumar Singh, CPRO of North Eastern Railway said that preparations are on to install automatic block signaling system for smooth operation of trains. The target has been set to put this signaling system on the track by the year 2025.
