Army fully ready, just waiting for orders… Defense Minister

Srinagar. Explaining the situation along the LoC, Lt Gen ADS Aujla, GOC, Chinar Corps said that a lot of parameters are indicating ‘normalcy’. Along with this, while telling about the challenge, he said that the challenge today is to maintain the ceasefire. Aujla said that we are able to maintain this ceasefire and normalcy phase that we are seeing on a daily basis. On Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s recent statement related to Gilgit-Baltistan, he said, ‘Indian Army fully prepared And we are ready for any action on the orders of the government.

It is worth mentioning that while targeting Pakistan on the Shaurya Diwas program in Srinagar, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had said that we have just started walking towards the north. Our journey will be completed only when we implement the resolution passed unanimously in the Indian Parliament on February 22, 1949 and accordingly reach our remaining parts like Gilgit and Baltistan.

On the Defense Minister’s statement and the present situation in Kashmir and border, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Chinar Police, ADS Aujla recently interacted with the media persons at 15 Corps Headquarters in Srinagar. General Aujla said that whenever the central government takes such a decision and orders come to us, then we are fully prepared. Apart from our traditional strength, we are also strengthening ourselves modernly, so that in such a situation we do not have to look back.

He also said that the capability and capability of the Indian Army has increased in the last 75 years. Our preparation is at a very good level and you will see a very different effect whenever it needs to be demonstrated. Talking about the current situation, General Aujla said that the situation is completely under control, but whenever there is an opportunity, there is an attempt to infiltrate from across the border. But the Indian Army is fully prepared to protect our border.
