On being taken to the district hospital, the miscreant was declared dead by the doctors. The SSP said that the slain miscreant used to carry out incidents of robbery, murder in the surrounding police station areas including the Baksha-Badlapur line market in Jaunpur district itself. Apart from Jaunpur Police, ADG Varanasi had also declared a reward of one lakh rupees on him.
