Kashmir-India will probably be the only country in the world where there is unfortunate politics on the issue of terrorism. Where terrorists are sympathetic to them by telling them to be astray. Where many institutions also reach the court for the human rights of terrorists. But when these same terrorists brutally kill an innocent person, then there is silence among a certain section of our country. There are total 195 countries in the whole world. Out of these, there are 92 countries which consider terrorism as a serious challenge to the world. There are 54 countries, which consider cooperation between all countries to be necessary to stop terrorism and there are 24 countries which have taken strict measures against terrorism. Another great similarity in all these countries is that all these countries look at terrorism only through the prism of terrorism.
In fact, Hindus, migrant laborers and people of other communities are being killed selectively in Kashmir. This year there have been more than 30 incidents of target killing in Kashmir, in which 25 people have lost their lives. It is unfortunate that more than half of them are Hindus. That is, the terrorists killed these people only because they were Hindus and had come from other states to work in Kashmir.
Terrorists do not want to change the demography in the Valley
Terrorists want that people of any other religion should not live in Kashmir except Muslims there, no person of other religion should work there, should not educate their children there and should not even settle their house there. Under this thinking, continuous target killings are being done in Kashmir. However, what is even more sad is that concern is being expressed in our country regarding the current incident of Bandipora and questions are being asked to the government.
This long debate is also happening on the news channels of our country. You know why all this is happening. All this is happening because the person killed in this incident was from a particular religion. Think why is it that when a Hindu is killed in Kashmir by terrorists, there is silence on him, but when the person who died is from a particular religion, then that news is not only made a national headline but also made news channels for hours. But there is debate about it.
We are not saying that this incident of Bandipora should not be talked about. Absolutely this incident should be talked about and it should be condemned. But our question is, how can such serious issues be divided on the basis of religion?
Bihari laborer shot dead in Bandipora
The name of the migrant laborer who was killed by terrorists in Bandipora was Mohammad Amrej. His age was only 19 years and he had come to Kashmir with his two brothers only four months ago to do labor. That is, his crime was only that he was working in Kashmir. He felt that here too he would get the same rights, which he gets in other states of the country.
But the terrorists killed him under target killing. According to the police, three bullets were fired at Mohammad Amrej. What disturbs the most is that the terrorists first gathered information that the person they have come to kill is from Bihar. When this was confirmed, he shot Mohammad Amrej from close range.
That is, the terrorists wanted that Mohammad Amrez did not survive in any way in this attack. This is the second major incident of target killing in the last 10 days. Earlier on August 4, terrorists had attacked the migrant laborers of Bihar in Pulwama by grenade attack. In which a worker was killed. Apart from this, you will remember that on June 2 this year, terrorists openly killed a Hindu bank manager in the Kashmir Valley. The only crime of this bank manager was that he was a Hindu and had come from Rajasthan to work in Kashmir.
Terrorists do not want to allow Kashmir to return to normal
In short, terrorists do not want Kashmir to return to normal. Here we want to share another thought with you. It is that today terrorists want to create such an environment in Kashmir that people from other states of India can neither work nor live there. But the irony is that Kashmiri Muslims can study in any college in India, get a job in any city, settle down in any state and we welcome it. This is the real beauty of India’s democracy.
But now the question is, is it not the responsibility of the Muslims living in Kashmir to raise their voice for the safety of their Hindu brothers and migrant laborers living there? Stand up for their safety?… In 1990, when Kashmiri Pandits were killed and they fled, Kashmiri Muslims allowed all this to happen. But now he has another chance to rectify his mistake. But the big question is, will they do this?
There are two major reasons behind the targeted killings of Hindus and migrant workers in Kashmir. The first reason is that the terrorists want to somehow stop the change in the demography of Kashmir. The meaning of demography is that how much population lives in Kashmir, which religion people live here, what religion is there in government jobs here.
