Pune. A case of murder of a teenager in unrequited love has come to light in Pune city of Maharashtra. It is reported that three people killed a 14-year-old girl by stabbing her with knives. The police have informed that the victim of this brutal attack had died on the spot. At present, the police have arrested two minors and the investigation of the case is going on. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has condemned the incident. Along with this, he has also asked to take immediate action in the matter.
A 14-year-old girl was brutally murdered by three men with knives on a middle road in Maharashtra’s Pune city on Tuesday. The incident took place when the teenager was going for Kabaddi practice. A police official said that prima facie it appears that the ‘unilateral’ love of a distant relative of the class eight girl could be the reason behind the brutal murder.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone-5) Namrata Patil said, “The girl was going to Yash Lawns in Bibewadi area for kabaddi practice at around 6.45 pm when three people including a 22-year-old boy on a motorcycle arrived and attacked her. attacked with a sharp weapon. He stabbed him several times with knives. The attack was so barbaric that the girl died on the spot.
Suniv Jaware, Senior Inspector of Bibewadi Police Station said, “The girl was going to Yash Lawn in Bibewadi area for Kabaddi practice at around 5:45 am. When she was standing near the lawn with friends, three people, including a 22-year-old boy, arrived on a motorcycle. One of them remained on the car. Whereas, two people including a 22-year-old attacked him with sharp weapons.
He told that the accused have hit the girl’s neck and body at many places. He said 22-year-old accused Shubham Bhagwat is a distant relative of the girl and he used to stay at her house. Jaware told that the girl’s parents had asked her to leave the house due to a one-sided love. He informed that two people have been arrested and the main accused is still absconding.
