New DelhiPetrol and Diesel: Oil companies have released new rates of petrol and diesel for Saturday. Today, on April 2, the prices of petrol and diesel have been increased once again. Earlier on Friday, relief was given and there was no change in the prices, but today an increase of 80-80 paise has been registered in the rate of petrol and diesel. Petrol has become costlier by 80 paise in Delhi, while diesel prices have also been increased by 80 paise. After this hike, in Delhi, the price of one liter of petrol now stands at Rs 102.61 and that of diesel to Rs 93.87.

Petrol and diesel prices in Mumbai have been hiked by 85 paise, taking the prices of petrol and diesel to ₹117.57 and ₹101.79 per liter respectively. While the price of petrol in Chennai has increased by 76 paise and is now being sold at Rs 108.21 per liter and diesel at Rs 98.28 per litre. In Kolkata, petrol has increased by 84 paise and diesel by 80 paise. After this, one liter of petrol is being sold here for Rs 112.19 and diesel for Rs 97.02 per litre.

In Bangalore one liter of petrol costs ₹108.14 and one liter of Diesel costs ₹92.05. Meanwhile, a liter of petrol is selling at ₹115.09 and a liter of diesel for ₹98.28 in Bhopal. In Sriganganagar, Rajasthan, a liter of petrol is being sold for Rs 119.85 and diesel for Rs 102.48. In Ranchi, a liter of petrol reached 105.85 and diesel at Rs 99.09. A petrol and diesel in Lucknow is getting Rs 102.45 and Rs 94.02 respectively.

Oil became costlier by Rs 7.20 in 12 days
Let us inform that before Friday, the prices of petrol and diesel were increased by 80 paise per liter on Thursday. After about 137 days on March 22, the prices of petrol and diesel were increased. Since then, petrol and diesel prices have increased for 10 days in 12 days. During this there has been an increase of about ₹ 7.20 per liter. Besides, CNG price in the national capital was hiked by 80 paise per kg on Friday, while piped LPG rates were hiked by Rs 5 per cubic metre.
