New Delhi: UGC NET result is going to be declared today. After the release of the result, candidates will be able to check their result and score by visiting the official website www.ugcnet.nta.nic.in. It is noteworthy that the December 2020 examination could not be conducted due to the Kovid-19 epidemic. Subsequently, the UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 examinations were simultaneously conducted by NTA from 20 November 2021 to 05 January 2022. The UGC NET exam was conducted in 81 subjects at 837 centers located in 239 cities across the country. Around 12 lakh candidates had registered in it.
Only 6% of the total candidates who will appear in both the papers of NET will be declared qualified. The UGC NET exam was conducted by NTA across the country in three phases. The first phase was conducted from 20 November 2021 to 5 December 2021. The second phase took place from 23 December to 27 December 2021 and the third phase from 4 to 5 January 2022.
UGC NET is conducted for the eligibility of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship in colleges and universities. This exam is conducted twice in a year. There is no upper age limit to appear for this exam but only candidates below 28 years of age can apply for JRF.
