Under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, now the treatment of black fungus will be done

New Delhi. The Central Government has increased the rates of treatment of 400 diseases under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Along with this, a new medical package related to black fungus has also been included in it. This step of the government will make it easier for the empaneled hospitals to provide better health services. The National Health Authority has increased the rates of these packages by 20 to 400 percent under the amendment in the health benefits package. Explain that the responsibility of implementing Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana is on the National Health Authority itself.

Center increased the rates of which packages
The Health Ministry said that under PM-Jai, the rates of some health packages have been increased by 20 to 400 percent. The rates of about 400 types of treatment have been changed. At the same time, an additional medical package related to black fungus has also been added.

The rate of ICU with ventilator facility has been increased by 100 percent.

  • The rate of ICU without ventilator facility increased by 136 percent.
    The rate of HDU has been increased by 22 percent.
  • The price of regular ward has been increased by 17 percent.
    Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that the revised version of the health benefits package will make it easier for the empaneled hospitals to provide better health facilities to the beneficiaries under Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY. According to a Moneycontrol report, Mandaviya said that the revised package will increase cancer care for the beneficiaries in the country. With the addition of a new package related to black fungus, the beneficiaries will get a big relief. He said that the new rates are reasonable, which will make it easier for private hospitals to adopt the scheme. Also, there will be less burden on the pocket of the beneficiaries.
    Ayushman Bharat PM-Jai includes the treatment of 1,669 types of diseases. These include 1080 surgical, 588 medical and one undisclosed package. Ayushman Bharat PM-Jai aims to provide health cover to all. Also, to provide free and affordable health services to the people in remote areas. Under this, free and cashless health services up to Rs 5 lakh per family are provided every year.
