Brunswick Canada. An anonymous whistleblower has claimed that after Havana syndrome and a mysterious disease in Sudan, another mysterious condition has emerged in the Canadian province of New Brunswick. Employees of the Vitalite Health Network have revealed that the disease is targeting a growing number of young people because of the rapid decline in thinking ability in those affected.
The disease was first announced in 2021 and since then there have been only 48 cases, which are under investigation. However, several other sources claim that the group affected by this disease can now include 150 people.
This disease is being seen in young adults who do not have any pre-existing health problems. Such people develop a range of symptoms including rapid weight loss, insomnia, hallucinations, difficulty in thinking and limited mobility. The Guardian quoted the source as saying, “I am really upset about these cases because they seem to be developing very fast. I am concerned for them and we give them some other kind of explanation regarding this mysterious disease.”
Many symptoms suggest that a major reason behind this disease may be related to the environment. One suspected case involved a man who was developing symptoms of insanity and ataxia. Then it was noticed that his wife, who was also his caregiver, suddenly lost sleep. Along with this, the woman also felt problems like muscle fatigue, dementia and hallucinations.
In another case, a man suddenly lost 60 pounds. Along with this, he also lost sleep and started having hallucinations. Signs of loss of thinking power were clearly visible in brain imaging. The whistleblower said, “This is not New Brunswick disease. We are probably the area where cases are increasing because we are mostly rural and in an area where people may be more exposed to environmental factors.”
