Delhi to Witness Rain Accompanied by Strong Winds  (Rain ) 

Delhi: Following rainfall  (Rain )   in several states across the country over the past few days, temperatures have once again begun to rise. In Rajasthan’s Barmer district, temperatures have soared past the 45-degree mark. Conversely, residents of Delhi-NCR have found some respite from the heat. On Sunday, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 37.9 degrees Celsius—1.4 degrees below the seasonal average.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 26.2 degrees Celsius, which is 1.1 degrees above the seasonal average. The Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rainfall and strong winds for Delhi-NCR on Monday. During this period, the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 39 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Record-Breaking Heat in Barmer, Rajasthan
Over the past 24 hours, the weather in Rajasthan remained predominantly dry. According to the department, heatwave-like conditions were recorded in several parts of the state. The Meteorological Department reported that Barmer recorded the highest temperature at 45.7 degrees Celsius, while Fatehpur in the Sikar district recorded the lowest temperature at 20.9 degrees Celsius.

Heavy Rains Lash Uttarakhand
Meanwhile, weather conditions in Uttarakhand remain quite adverse. On Sunday afternoon, heavy rainfall and thunderstorms were recorded in Uttarkashi, rendering the Yamunotri pilgrimage route slippery and hazardous. According to officials, devotees are continuing their pilgrimage despite these adverse conditions.
