Iran Must Not Possess Nuclear Weapons (Nuclear )

Washington: A state of tension continues to persist between Iran and the United States. Amidst the alleged ceasefire, statements and social media posts by U.S. President Donald Trump do not appear to be helping to improve the situation. Meanwhile, Iran asserts that the Americans seek their surrender, but that they do not bow down to force. In a post, Trump stated that Iran must never be allowed to possess nuclear     (Nuclear )   weapons. Furthermore, he warned that if Iran were to violate the ceasefire, “a lot of bombs would start exploding.”

Iran Must Not Possess Nuclear Weapons
In a post on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump wrote: “Israel never spoke to me about a war with Iran; the results of October 7th have further reinforced my lifelong conviction that Iran must never possess nuclear weapons. I view and read the ‘Fake News’ and their polls with complete skepticism. 90% of what they say consists of lies and fabricated stories. The polls are rigged—just as the 2020 presidential election was rigged. Much like the results in Venezuela—which the media prefers not to discuss—the outcome in Iran will be surprising; and if Iran’s new leaders (Regime Change!) are smart, Iran’s future could be a great and prosperous one!”

Then, “A Lot of Bombs Will Explode”
Separately, in an interview, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that if Iran violates the ceasefire, “a lot of bombs will start exploding.” Trump added that it is “highly unlikely” that he would extend the two-week ceasefire with Iran any further without a formal agreement. The Strait of Hormuz will remain blockaded until such an agreement is reached. Pezeshkian Posts on X
Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian wrote in a post on X, “Respecting commitments is the foundation of meaningful dialogue. A deep historical mistrust regarding the conduct of the U.S. government persists in Iran, while the unconstructive and contradictory signals from U.S. officials convey a bitter message: they seek Iran’s surrender. Iranians do not bow down to force.”
