Tehran: Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has issued his first message. (Message ) In it, he stated, “We will avenge the deaths of the martyrs.” Khamenei also vowed to avenge the deaths of children. Mojtaba Khamenei declared that the martyrdom of no individual would ever be forgotten. During this address, he made another major announcement, stating that the Strait of Hormuz would remain closed. This makes it clear that the oil crisis in the global market is set to persist. Over the past 15 days, this conflict in the Middle East has sent oil and gas prices skyrocketing across the globe. The oil and gas crisis has already caused widespread turmoil worldwide. Against this backdrop, Mojtaba’s latest announcement has plunged the world into even deeper anxiety.
“We Will Continue Attacking US Bases”
Mojtaba asserted that all US military bases in the Middle East must be vacated. He warned that attacks would continue until this demand is met. Mojtaba is the son of Iran’s former Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and has now been appointed as the new Supreme Leader. Notably, US President Donald Trump had opposed the elevation of Mojtaba Khamenei to the position of Iran’s next Supreme Leader. This marks the first message issued by Mojtaba since assuming the role of Iran’s new Supreme Leader, in which he has made it unequivocally clear that this war is not about to end anytime soon.
The War Will Continue Until Khamenei’s Death Is Fully Avenged
In his inaugural message, Mojtaba also made it explicitly clear that he intends to avenge the death of his father, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. Mujtaba’s declaration makes it clear that this war will continue until vengeance for Khamenei’s death is exacted, and the Middle East will continue to burn in the flames of this unwanted conflict. Since Khamenei’s death, Iran has maintained a relentless campaign of attacks against all major Middle Eastern nations that are allies of the United States and Israel—specifically those where the U.S. has established military bases.

Furthermore, the strategy of utilizing measures to blockade the Strait of Hormuz will most certainly be continued.”

Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mujtaba Khamenei, did not make a public appearance in person. Instead, his message was broadcast across Iranian television networks. The leverage regarding the closure of the Strait of Hormuz must continue to be exercised.
