Abuja: Gunmen unleashed terror once again in Nigeria on Saturday. According to reports, gunmen attacked a village in northern Nigeria ( Nigeria) early Saturday morning, killing three villagers. Church officials said the gunmen also kidnapped 11 people, including a Catholic priest. The gunmen reportedly broke into the priest’s house in the Kauru area of Kaduna State around 3 a.m.
Nigeria Continues to Face a Horrific Wave of Violence
The Catholic Diocese of Kafanchan in Kaduna issued a statement calling it a “terrorist attack.” This attack is the latest incident in the ongoing violence in the northern part of the country, where conflict has been raging for a long time. In January, more than 150 Christians were kidnapped from three churches in another part of Kaduna, and they were released this week. Meanwhile, in Kwara State, Islamic extremists killed more than 160 people for refusing to comply with their demands. Most of those killed were Muslims, but they paid with their lives for disagreeing with the extremists.
