Washington: For the past few days, protests against the Khamenei government have been taking place across Iran. People have taken to the streets, and security forces are struggling to control the situation. Now, the US has intervened, and US President Donald Trump has threatened the Khamenei government. The Khamenei government has given a strong           ( strong ) response to Trump’s threat. A close advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei said that the US should focus on its own soldiers instead of interfering in the affairs of others.

US President Donald Trump warned the Iranian Khamenei government, saying, “If Iran shoots and brutally kills peaceful protesters, which is their habit, then the United States will come to their aid. We are fully prepared and ready to act.”

Iran gives a strong response to Trump’s threat

Responding to Trump’s threat, Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said, “The US should know that interfering in our internal affairs is like spreading chaos throughout the region, and Trump has started this. He should worry about his own soldiers.”

Several people killed in violent protests in Iran

A large number of people have taken to the streets in Iran due to the continuously deteriorating economy and are chanting slogans against the Khamenei government. The Iranian government is showing a very strict attitude towards the protests. Several protesters have been arrested, and it is reported that two people have died in Lordegan and three in Izeh. A security officer also died in Kuhdasht during the night. Dozens of people have also been arrested in several cities.
