New Delhi: PM Modi ( PM Modi ) received a phone call today from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The two leaders discussed a range of issues over the phone, including terrorism. According to reports, both leaders expressed satisfaction with the ongoing progress in the India-Israel strategic partnership and reiterated their commitment to further strengthening these relations for mutual benefit.
Both leaders condemn terrorism
During the phone call, the two leaders also discussed terrorism and condemned it, reiterating their zero-tolerance approach towards all forms and manifestations of terrorism. They also deliberated on the situation in West Asia. PM Modi reaffirmed India’s support for efforts towards a just and lasting peace in the region, including the early implementation of the Gaza peace plan. The two leaders agreed to remain in contact.

They also spoke in October
The two leaders had also spoken on the phone in October. PM Modi had called Netanyahu and congratulated him on the Gaza peace plan. Netanyahu had even postponed a meeting of his security cabinet for a short while to take PM Modi’s call.
It is worth noting that Russian President Vladimir Putin recently visited India. During this visit, PM Modi’s close relationship with Putin was evident.
