This country bought 80 Rafale fighter jets after India, know

Paris: France’s fighter jet Rafale was bought by many countries including India. Now on Friday, the United Arab Emirates has made a big deal with France regarding Rafale. The United Arab Emirates has purchased 80 Rafale aircraft and 12 military helicopters from France. The UAE has made a deal of $ 19.20 billion with France to take such a large quantity of Rafale and military helicopters.

Let us tell you that this deal of French warplane Rafale is the biggest foreign sale ever. At present, no official statement has been made by the UAE regarding the purchase of Rafale. Let us tell you that after the arrival of Rafale aircraft, UAE’s air security will become very strong and this can make Qatar very difficult in the coming times. Because Qatar does not have good relations with both Saudi Arabia and UAE.

The French Defense Ministry has described this order given by the UAE for Rafale and military helicopter planes as the biggest arms deal ever. French President Emmanuel Macron is currently on a two-day visit to the Gulf country. He has reached the Emirates first, after which he will also go to Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

The deal between the UAE and France took place during the Dubai Expo 2020 when President Macron and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, signed an agreement worth $19 billion during a ceremony. President Emmanuel Macron said that this agreement between the two countries strengthens the strategic partnership of the two countries.

Shares of Rafale maker Dassault Aviation SA rose over 9%. This is the biggest ever bulk purchase of Dassault-made Rafale apart from the French military. The UAE has also ordered 12 Caracal helicopters. It took a decade for both the countries to purchase Rafale. Earlier in 2011, Abu Dhabi had sent a proposal to France for the supply of 60 Rafale jets. If sources are to be believed, the UAE Army will replace the Rafale aircraft with its Mirage 2000.
