When did Israel attack?
Israel launched an airstrike on Qatar’s capital, Doha, on September 9th. A Qatari security guard and several low-level Hamas members were killed in the attack. Qatar strongly condemned the attack, calling it a violation of its sovereignty. According to reports, Netanyahu apologized to Qatari Prime Minister Al Thani for the attack in Doha and the violation of Qatar’s sovereignty. Discussions to End the War in Gaza

The report also said that after the Israeli attack, Qatar was reluctant to mediate in talks with Hamas.
